I am very impressed with the 2010 Primitivo (a sort of Zinfandel) from the Barossa. Whilst higher in alcohol than I’d like, it drinks well. This unwooded wine is really easy to drink and suits a variety of meat dishes, but also cheese and pastas. I’d drink it especially with pork dishes, I think.
